Fuck. I don’t even know. Never before have I both loved and hated a book like I do this one. It’s pretentious, glorifies not taking care of one’s mental health, and literally no one grows or changes in any substantial way by the end. This book is going absolutely nowhere — it went absolutely nowhere — and yet.

There’s something beautiful about it that I can’t put my finger on. I was chasing a high the entire time I read it and didn’t want to put it down. It’s eloquent. It’s confusing. Who the hell knows anything about theoretical math or time/space continuums or fucking bees? Certainly not me. But I did enjoy reading some of the absolutely diabolical conversations centered around those topics in this book.

This book really has me scratching my head. I read other reviews and agreed with some people who rated it highly and others who rated it poorly. What a conundrum (maybe that’s the point?)
