Red Dirt by Anna Jarzab

Sammy has just graduated from high school and doesn't have any prospects for the future. Sammy is fiercely loyal to those in her life, so when rich boy Brayton blows into town, she doesn't know if she can trust an outsider. Sammy is truly tested when her father mysteriously disappears and she fears the worst. Sammy takes the law into her own hands and will find the truth no matter what. Perhaps, Brayton can become the perfect partner.

This book was what I expected from a Harlequin novel. There were many steamy romance scenes, but the characters will appeal to teens and new adults. Overall though, I did enjoy the mystery and can see myself giving this to someone looking for a quick romance novel.
