The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

5.0

reread 12/24/22: hit just as hard as the first time, despite me taking over a full year to finish my reread lol.

a masterpiece. perfection. new favorite of all time. exceeded all my expectations. i cant even form coherent sentences. read this book asap. it's worth the hype. who cares if you "dont read trendy books." this is EVERYTHING. writing is phenomenal. plot is similar to the movie, The Age of Adaline, but also way different. characters are wonderful. super short chapters. various settings and imagery are so vivid and really transports the reader. i wish i could provide a more substantial review but i physically cannot handle my emotions right now. im obsessed with this book. it's an absolute blessing on my bookshelf. ♡
