A Need So Beautiful by Suzanne Young
4.0
This is an unputdowable-read-in-one-sitting book. You will fall head first into Charlotte's story and you won't surface again until it's finished! Suzanne Young has created a unique and original world in A Need So Beautiful.
Charlotte, the protagonist is compelled to help people. Maybe compelled isn't the right word, because her body and mind force her to help complete strangers even when she doesn't want to. Her Need is gradually getting worse as the years go by. It's getting harder for her to hide it from her family and her boyfriend.
Charlotte was a wonderful main character. She was level headed and smart. She was a little pig-headed, but that's mostly because she was in denial of her...powers? Her relationship with Harlin was a breath of fresh air. It was realistic and for the most part uncomplicated. Their relationship was already established, which I love!
Overall, this was a fantastic start to a series. It was addictive and fresh! Read it!
