What a ride! This is somehow the first book I've read from Steve Cavanagh, but it definitely won't be the last! When I met Mr. Cavanagh, he talked about his love for Patricia Highsmith and all of her quirks. I was so delighted to see Strangers on a Train mentioned and played out in this book because I really enjoyed that when I read it!
This book really highlighted the broken criminal system we have in America. It's pretty infuriating to be honest. There is no reason people should be able to get away with murder. Amanda knows this pain all too well. Her only reason for living is to kill the man who killed her daughter and tore her life apart.... and got away with it. She meets a woman in a similar situation and they make a pact to commit each other's murders.
The twists in this book are brilliantly put together! I absolutely loved it!
