Death Do Us Part by Miranda Grant

4.0

This was a light and fun read.
Arianna is reckless and hilarious, her mind is so curious, especially when she shouldn't be. Richard is the 'cruel' fairy king. He needs a queen to be able to rule the fairies so he plans to wed Arianna (who is in the jails as a criminal) and then let her be killed until he discovers their mates.
Richard does his best to ignore her, belittle her and scare her while Arianna just wants to love him, until she learns his plans for her death. She then has to fight her feelings for him and try and save herself by killing him.
Their relationship evolves over the book and Richard can't help but find himself falling for her, she makes him laugh and he can't wrap his brain around how joyous and carefree she can be, but that doesn't mean she isn't fierce.
I wish I could read more about their relationship after they decided to be together without the threats of death.
