As somebody with religious trauma who has left a very toxic culture, I definitely have plenty of anger. However, this just came off as condescending and angry. I was hoping to have something that would help me continue to heal from my trauma or have an intelligent and civil discussion about religion, but that wasn’t the vibe for this book.
