The Mozart Conspiracy by Scott Mariani
3.0
Ben Hope is contacted by an old flame as she feels threatened and desperately needs his help. She is the sister of an old army buddy who accidentally died a year earlier. It becomes clear that someone is after her and something she has and when that is revealed he realises that his friend's death was no accident. He is determined to find the truth but it's not an easy task as he realises that there is someone in the background pulling the strings.
This is a manhunt thriller of trying to save the love of his life and a save kidnapped child. It's full of drama and tension but that is a bit of what I don't like about the story. There is too much drama and tension when really there is no need for it. As for the ending, it went on too long. Seriously, the last ten chapters could have cut. Too soppy and melodramatic, taking away all the enjoyment of the previous chapters. The ending was such a let down.
