Sew It Yourself with DIY Daisy: 20 Pattern-Free Projects (and Infinite Variations) To Make Your Dream Wardrobe by Daisy Braid

4.0

I loved this so much! At first this is a beautifully designed book, very aesthetically pleasing and it very much fit the vibe of Daisy herself. The models in the book are also quite diverse in size and ethnicity.
I would say I am an intermediate sewist and a lot of the info on techniques was not new for me, but I would say it is very helpful for beginner sewists. I even found some tips I didn’t know yet!
Next: the projects. I am especially excited about the clothing projects. They seem easy to make and are also scrap busters which is handy as well as environmentally friendly. I loved the variation in styles. I was less excited about the accessoiries as they just seem a bit too beginner sewist to me, but that’s just personal. I do think they are quite original and not just “here’s how to sew a tote bag”.
Can’t wait to sew something from this book!
