The Last Colony by John Scalzi
4.0
A very nice conclusion to this story arc. The middle part was a bit slow at times, but nothing serious. I enjoy Scalzi’s writing a lot so it didn’t really bother me.
I find that with this book, Scalzi comes full circle with ideas from the first one. I won’t spoil anything but let’s put it this way: if you thought Old Man’s War was too militaristic, too much like Starship Troopers, do yourself a favour and read the next two books.
