Passion
by Lauren Kate
I am not going to lie I really enjoyed this book when I first read it. Being able to dive into a variety of Luce's and Daniel's past lives was very interesting especially considering the different time periods and cultures that was explored.
In addition to this Daniel really grew on me throughout the course of this book, and I really enjoyed his team up with Miles and Shelby.
I really liked Bill, both his humous initial appearance as well as the revelation, and was very intrigued to see how his character's introduction was going to raise the stakes going into the final book.
I also really enjoyed getting to see snippets of the other angels in the past, and was especially excited to read Cam's backstory and why he picked the side that he did.
The ending was what ruined this book for me, not because of Bill's reveal, but because of how ridiculous a conclusion it was. The angel politics which were infodumped onto the reader within the finial few chapters was very boring to read and took away from the quick paced jump through their past lives which Luce and Daniel were on.
