They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera

"What's next?"
"Game for whatever."
"Should we go make a moment?"
"I thought we were already making moments, but alright."

Oh god, it's so hard to put into words all the warm and fuzzy feelings I got while reading this book (and afterwards, of course). It's also hard not to spoil anything in a review, so I'll try to keep this brief.

This is my first Adam Silvera book, and to say that I had high expectations after seeing and hearing all these good things about him online and on booktube. Ultimately, They Both Die at the End met all those expectations and more. It's a heartfelt and beautiful novel that shows the impact of how friendship can really change your life, even if it only lasts for a day.

I understand that lot's of people (me included) wanted to know how Death-Cast got this information, and what kind of science is actually going on with that. However, with the novel being mainly a YA contemporary and NOT a sci-fi, it's safe to say that I can definitely let that part of the story go without question. Besides, I was too busy bawling my eyes out during the book to truly care about the scientific accuracy in the story.

If you want to read a book that will give you all those feels you crave, while still holding meaning and truth, then this is your novel.

"Take me home, Mateo."
