Berliininpoppelit by Anne B. Ragde, Tarja Teva

3.0

I was quite surprised by this book when I first started reading it. I hadn't realised that the author is Norwegian, and I was waiting to read something about the city of Berlin. And then I ended up reading about pigs! Which was not a bad turn at all.
I kind of fell in love with these people, who are so obliviously completely lost with their lives. Especially Tor, poor thing. My motherly instincts got 100% turned on while reading about him and his pathetic dad. Gladly his brother and niece had a bit more spirit in them. I really liked the way the story started evolving. Easy read, interesting story, nice entertainment.
But then the ending. Oh why? That was such a stupid turn, and left me really puzzled about what had happened. I don't like endings like this. Not even if there is a sequel. So, without the ending this would have been a much better book, four stars.
