elinor being the realest person in this book for 353 pages straight fr. shout out to marianne for being the second realest. austen's work is always so fun to read but reading this did feel like a chore at times. i feel like this book would evoke more emotions from people with sisters - it's a book celebrating the preciousness of sisterhood and comfort that sisterhood brings while also highlighting the hypocrisy of societal standards in the 19th century.
