A charming and touching book about the life of not only cows but sheep, chickens and pigs. The main focus is on cows and it comes with a handy family tree at the start of all the cows discussed. A particular favourite cow is Amelia and I love that Rosamund has dedicated two ‘chapters’ to her. I now feel I understand cows a bit more. The same way I carry dog biscuits on walks, I will now make sure to carry some apples with me around the countryside!
