Devil's Thirst by Jill Ramsower

5.0

I loved this book and everything about it. I adored both Amelie and Sante; their characters are just perfect for each other. Sante is everything you could ask for in a man—he's handsome, has tattoos, is protective and possessive, incredibly lovable, and makes you feel safe, apart from his initial stalkerish behavior, of course, but even that had a reason.

I truly felt for Amelie and what she went through, but I appreciated how she opened up to Sante. She is so brave when she confronts her perpetrator in front of a hall full of people. I loved their chemistry and how Sante was so careful with Amelie because of her past. I also enjoyed the family gathering scenes, which reminded me that I had already read Naomi and Conner's story. It was a nice surprise to realize that Sante is actually Naomi's brother.

All in all, I loved this book and highly recommend it if you enjoy dark mafia romance and the best MMC. While there isn’t much action in this book, the spice is just the way I love it!
