Blyss by J.C. Cliff

From the get go I was not into this one. There wasn't a moment for me to connect with the MC. I didn't at the start when she's saying good-bye to her perfect yet very off boyfriend, to arriving in Georgia to her body guard who does a terrible job at guarding her. It is obvious that we're not getting the full story about who her dad is and we never actually get it. Instead we get a kidnapping with a man who feels nothing about trafficking women but feels something for her and yet still plans to train her for, his boss...What?!

The boss of this human trafficking ring is like 30 and at the top of his game? He's a power hungry fake Dom who gets off on scaring women and someone lets his emotions get the best of him. Don't see how that makes him boss but what ever.

The "science" and purpose behind Blyss is interesting, although very creepy, the story in general didn't work for me. Even the hot scenes couldn't get me past what was really going on. This one just wasn't for me.
