Truly Madly Guilty by Liane Moriarty
4.0

Liane Moriarty has done it yet again. After a mind blowing “Big Little Lies”, this has to be the 2nd book, that kept me hooked. Like the other books I’ve read of Moriarty’s, Truly Madly Guilty keeps progressing in two timelines: one that has passed, and the other in the present. Of course, there is a "big reveal". But what I love about this book, and Liane in general is how she brings out the innate nature of every character - with more flaws than strengths that you begin to see the characters as people you know from everyday life - and so, get involved in the story, beyond the reader. Truly Madly Guilty is a silent acknowledgement of things we take for granted, that we shouldn't. Perhaps, the story could have progressed faster than it did, but that didn't make it any less enjoyable.
