The Prisoner of Heaven by Carlos Ruiz Zafón

3.0

Definitely the weak link in the trilogy. I devoured the first two and loved every minute, but this one fell a little flat. It frankly annoyed me that the book was basically an excuse to delve into the back story of Fermin Romero de Torres, but anything pertaining to his allegedly very interesting life before jail was purposefully excluded.

I did appreciate the additional insight on David Martin, and part of me wants to go back and reread The Angel's Game and see how my impressions change.
