Another Fun Read!
I read the first book in the Smudge Adventures series, Jamming in the Jungle, a couple of weeks ago. I loved it so much that I decided to read this first book. While I didn't love this book as much as the second, I still enjoyed it. And once again, the author included, at the end of the book, several activities for children that are both engaging and fun. In truth, I loved these activities more than I did the ones in Jamming. And yes, I know I'm slightly older than the intended age group for these books.
In this book, Smudge falls asleep and goes on an epic outer space adventure where he meets intriguing characters, and readers learn a lot about the galaxy. The activities at the end of the story include a dot-to-dot image of Smudge, a word search, and much more! This story is another winner from Ms. Keightley, and I highly recommend it to parents of young children. Enjoy!
