Star Wars: Jedi - Aayla Secura by John Ostrander, Jan Duursema

3.0

Solid oneshot. I knew nothing about Aayla Secura before going into this, and now I know quite a lot, which is good. This comic met all of the expectations I had for it, in general and also in terms of Aayla's character, but didn't really exceed them, hence the three stars. I enjoyed finding out more about Aurra Sing, who I only knew from Clone Wars; the parallels between her life and Aayla's were really interesting. Having also met Quinlan Vos, at the very beginning and in flashbacks to Aayla's training, I'm now even more interested to read Dark Disciple (up until now Ventress has been the main source of my interest in that) and find out more about him.
