The Women by Kristin Hannah

5.0

Omg my homegirl KH has done it AGAIN! I’ve only ever read “The Great Alone” and that left me sobbing. I just finished this one, and I’m feeling ALL the feelings! SO many complex emotions on several levels. Her impeccable research and storytelling skills are evident in this phenomenal novel. I can’t stop thinking about it, especially as a child of a Vietnam veteran. My relationship with my dad is complicated to say the least, and I feel like this book is such a gift toward healing for us as Individuals of different generations, as a nation, and as a society as a whole. I can’t say enough—I think everyone should read it!
