the elevator pitch for this book was Indiana Jones In Space. However, I h have never actually seen any Indiana Jones in my life so the only comparison I can truthfully say is The Mummy with Brendan Fraser but the genders are swapped - it has a similar landscape, comedy and wit.
Amelia and Jules were extremely well written and there was palpable chemistry, the quick dialogue and the back and forth was entertaining and the way the puzzles and traps were set kept up the fast pace, lingering just enough and not a moment more.
There were twists throughout the novel and there were well done, but the end of this book I am extremely eager to read the next instalment in the coming year.
