Lord of the Masquerade by Erica Ridley
5.0

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a rich Duke in want of a perfect, cold, ton wife will no doubt find and fall in love with a totally incorrect woman. Julian, the Duke of Lampley is a cold, controlling man. When hosting his weekly masquerades he must over see every detail down to the size and shape of the sandwiches.
Unity Thorne is currently a make-up artist at the theater but her real desire is to run her own masquerade club based on what is working for the Duke. She isn't looking for a husband only looking to get the inside track on what makes his masquerades are so popular
While neither is looking for a relationship when they finally meet a friendship blooms. She challenges his way of doing things, not to belittle them but to make them better.
With no worry about romance, it is able to grow on its own and the two manage to find their Happily Ever After despite what they originally had planned.
I received an advanced copy of this book in return for an honest review.
