Sadly, not as good as I had hoped it would be. It was my hope that I would understand Ambessa's motivation after reading this, but I didn't. It succeeds at making me care about side characters more, especially Mel, Kino and Rell. I'd read a sequel about Rell. Arcane, I miss you so much. 😭
