The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake
3.0
2.5 stars. as a resident dark academic girlie, i went into this thinking i would L O V E it. and boy was i horribly wrong. 130 pages into this book, and i just wanted to quit. ultimately, this book felt like a whole lot of nothing. it was way too long, filled with way too much lengthy drivel.
shortly after, it lost me again. it wasn't until like the last 30 pages of the book that i actually became invested in the ending. surprisingly, i picked up on some of the twists, but the end really picked up to a whole other level of what the fuck is happening. i had to reread a lot to make sure i understood the huge turns. i tentatively added the second book in the series to my list because i do have a lot of questions, but also am worried that it'll be another miss overall.
