The Ethical Slut: A Guide to Infinite Sexual Possibilities by Dossie Easton

adventurous challenging hopeful informative inspiring lighthearted reflective medium-paced

5.0

I am not a reader of non-fiction and when I am, I barely ever finish the book. If I do it, usually gets like a 1 or 2 star from me. However, since I learnt of this book's existence I knew I had non-fiction I was going to enjoy. I kept it with me for a while, but I think I read it at the perfect time, as per the 5 stars which it totally deserves. While this book took me nearly a month to finish, it was because I was slowly digesting it and because I believe I will need to digest it again, I am absolutely getting myself a permanent copy. I highly recommend this book, it has literally changed the way I think on many subjects, when I find myself speaking or gossiping on relationships etc, this book comes to mind and the way I think of the information I receive and the way I speak about such info as well is different because of this book. It has also helped me recognize more of who I am and what I want in the future. I am so happy I read this book and it makes me very excited about the possible future where I can be an ethical slut.

P.S. I have read a lot of other reviews and would like to put in my little tidbit. While it most certainly is a self-help book, which if that turns you off it completely that's fine, it usually would to me too, this book also shows a differing perspective to the majority and tries to flip you're view of the world around you. I hope that makes it a bit more appealing to some, because I believe reading this book is at least somewhat advantageous to all.
