This second installment is not disappointing. Though there’s a lot of lover’s tension that is a bit ridiculous, the world, story, characters, and relationships develop further in a way I find satisfying. I was riveted throughout the whole book and I didn’t see a lot of plot points coming, so kudos to Yarros for that. Two out of context things (if you know, you know)…the THRONE 🤌 and the ENDING 🫣
