The Alchemy Of Moonlight by David Ferraro

2.0

Absolutely diabolical for people to sell this as a poly romance when two of the boys are not even in the same room for 97% of the book. I think this is FTC reportable, actually. And then at the end to be like
Spoiler"Oh, but actually I always fancied you," "No way! I also always fancied you!" How convenient! How lovely! What a charming way to get out of doing any work whatsoever on actual romantic dynamics! Get tf out of here, I'm so tired.
Diabolical. Giving me flashbacks to the end of The Infernal Devices - it's not poly, it's just Emile getting rewarded for being terrible to both Henri and Bram the entire book, and now Henri and Bram just have to get used to being his narrative prizes. Diabolical.

I feel like I have more to whine about but, really, this one crime could have sunk much better books, so I'm not going to aggravate my wrist pain over lesser faults.
