I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore

3.0

I made a major mistake that only a reader can do because I watched the movie two months ago before reading the book so I got spoiled. I'm such an idiot! The movie was surprisingly almost the same as the book though there are some changes (which the directors couldn't help but do) it was still better compared to the movie adaptation of Percy Jackson.

While reading the chapter 8 I was like "Pittacus Lore? Isn't that the author? Hahahaha good job of including his pseudonym on his book" It was like reading uncle Rick's work though much less humor and sarcasm. As we all know Rick Riordan used to say that the novels that he was writing were sent to him by the demigods and that's the case in this book, only the author was the leader himself. I didn't get to enjoy the book that much, not because it was bad but because I got spoiled and already knew what would happen next. There are some differences like the Henri in this book was a loving and a caring man while the Henri in the movie was a really serious lad. The book as usual was better than the movie. I couldn't wait to read the second book in which I wasn't spoiled yet (and hopefully it will stay that way)

I got a little bit teary eyed on Chapter 33, the poor beast. Mogadorians deserved what it did to them.
