"I let her go once. I won’t make that mistake twice."
This book started well and I liked the whole "finding out we're married part" part. Shane & Cate had amazing chemistry and the epilogue was really adorable. When they initially tried to be together, Shane's mistake lead them to be apart but after a few months, he meets Cate again. I liked the way Shane's character slightly developed in the second half but his pov was confusing at times. And I think that Cate should've been more stronger because she forgave him way too quickly for so many things. I just wanted to see him grovel for the way he left her. Also, it was quite difficult for me to keep track of all the side characters because they kept popping up. The plot was enjoyable but some parts just felt stretched and could've been executed better tbh. So overall, this was a decent read and my rating for it would be 3.5 stars.
