Bound to the Elvin Prince by Lisa Kumar

I finished this book and I'm not sure what the actual conflict was. There was a bit of tension between the main couple but that was it. Repeated mentions of external threat and that the FMC was supposedly part of the solution to fix it. Somehow. None of this is exactly defined and little stakes are set out.
This continued on to an end where nothing happened. I'd hoped the next book was a continuation of this couple. It's not. It's a new couple. The development of them thus appears done in this book.
The characters? The main pair are interesting enough, fairly fleshed out, but that's where it ends. The side characters feel one dimensional with little conflict or tension associated.
This is a good surface read but with little plot, twists or world building, it's hard to want to continue with the series. I may touch the next book but there's no urge to. It just...feels underwhelming.
