4.5 stars rounded up. Although this is long, I flew through it in a couple of days because I had to know what was going to happen! Excellent writing, an engrossing plot, solid character development - all of my favorite things. This one also deals with so many prevalent themes - addiction, family dynamics, love and loss, and so much more. There is also a huge twist that I so didn't see coming, and even as I was reading it, I didn't quite get it at first because it was so unexpected. I want to talk more about this one with someone who has read it!
