In Her Bones by Kate Moretti

4.0

Edie Beckett’s mother was a serial killer. She grew up not knowing that her mother was killing the girlfriends and wives of her lovers. Now Edie is an adult and her mother is in jail, but she can’t stop thinking about the families left behind. She is obsessed with them and knows everything about them.

One day she takes things too far and and gets involved with someone she shouldn’t. When he is found dead, Edie is the prime suspect. She must find out what happened to him, or risk being accused of being just like her mother.

This book had an interesting premise and Edie is a unique character. While I didn’t love some of the twists at the end, overall this is a fast-paced, enjoyable mystery.
