The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins

3.0

Pros
Real, messy, fucked up characters that are therefore, interesting.
Crazy hyped book so you can be in on all the discussions.

Cons
Choppy abrupt prose that are full off commas. Ok for proving a point, but the entire book? Not cool.
It is ultimately, a clichéd story. I saw the killer from a mile away.
Haphazardly abandoned plot points/characters that were put in the book just coz.

In conclusion, it makes for an easy, interesting read. But did not shake the ground beneath my feet, as all the reviews had me expecting.

P.s - I quite like Emily Blunt so excited to see what she makes of It.
