This was a really cute story (get it?). At times it felt like we were focusing on weird things. There's a lot.of character growth for Charlie which was nice to see.
There are either some errors that didn't get caught in editing, or it has something to do with it being Canadian. There were a few times I had to reread a sentence.
The ending felt SUPER rushed though. The book looks like there's another 30-40 pages, but it's just a sample of another book by this author. So to turn the page and bam, there's the epilogue. I dunno, it felt like the author couldn't decide what to do with the story anymore. I would have liked some more of the thought process and decision making of Charlie in the end, instead of just jumping to their relationship and career next steps.
