So far, this has been my least favorite of the books.
As an aspiring author myself, I know sometimes we just need things to happen to get the story moving, but that happened way too much in this book.

I have been listening to the books, so I will do my best with spelling, but please forgive mistakes.

I am extremely annoyed that with no evidence Nineave just *knew* the Kin had The Bowl of the Winds. Nineave is specifically NOT taverin so that shouldn't have been able to happen. I understand she and Elyane needed it, but I found it very lame that she just decided The Kin had it.

I'm bothered by the fact that Lan apparently still wants to die because of Maurean dying but let himself be bullied into marrying Nineave regardless.

The fight against Ishameal was extremely anticlimactic. I don't believe he's dead because it happened too quickly. The fight with Ravin made more sense.
