When I say this book had me crying everywhere I listened to it, I mean EVERYWHERE! In the shower, in the car, washing dishes…you name it. I was a puddle by the end of this book and I loved every moment of it. The audiobook version was heart wrenching and, for me, difficult to get through at times because it made me so emotional. Zauner narrates her story with such raw honesty - it is subtle, painful, and deeply moving. And MAN can she describe food in a way that makes my mouth water! Moments that I will be thinking about forever include: everything about that wedding, the process of making kimchi, and the various trips to South Korea she describes. If you want to have a good cry, put on this audiobook!
