Holy shit. I was able to read an ARC of this and oh my god. This is probably one of or my favorite Horror books of the year. While it wasn't gory or anything, but it was one of the most mentally and emotionally horrific novels I've read. Having the main character be nonverbal, autistic, transmasc; while going through a pregnancy he's forced to bring to term was horrifying. This is one that everyone and anyone wanting to understand the reason behind today's reproductive rights movement and why they matter so much.
