The Quiet Tenant by Clémence Michallon

This book was well written but a little off pace.

It’s the story of one man who dominates 3 women’s lives. His daughter, his love interest and the woman he kidnapped 5 years previously. We mostly get the point of view from Rachel (the victim) and for that I’m happy because she was by far the most interesting aside from Aiden himself. We get little chapters here and there from his other victims and they felt really unfinished and careless and I wish they would have made something more of that.

Not much to say because not much happens until roughly the 80% mark but it was all in all a good read.

You start suspecting that bad things might, one day, happen to you. Somewhere in a corner of your heart, you hope to be exempt.
