A refreshing read, not only because it is written in reverse but also because the main character is a bisexual woman in her early 30s trying to navigate life - something I cannot recall reading about before, but then I don't really read romance. This is MUCH more than a romance book though. It covers a range of topic, some mentioned above, and Hazel Hayes has a very distinct, easy-to-read voice which meant I breezed through this in less than two days. There were small details and metaphors scattered throughout the book (the iron, anyone?!) that made me Feel Things TM. Oh, and the ending (or beginning, if you will!) gave me mad goosebumps!
