Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson

"Journey before destination" - That's all well and good, but if the journey drags on for too long it can overshadow the destination.

A step down from the previous two books. After the ending of WoR a world "reset" was required to allow characters to readjust to the new world they find themselves in. However, in my opinion, little happened for around 700 pages and I found myself struggling with a Sanderson book for the first time. That being said, the ending of the book was fantastic and went a long way to redeeming the book.
