This book was a little stranger for me to read. It was erotic but featured many trigger warnings and the ending was a shocking discovery that left me blank for a bit. I had a hard time getting through it because of the treatment of the main character.
with the main character being gas lit over and over again it took away from the book itself I think. It really had me the ready thinking I was going crazy and imagining things. The author did an amazing job portraying this aspect of the big but as an SA and emotional abuse victim I struggled getting through it because of this.
