Our boy was gone from the start and so was I. This was an amazing read, one that I picked up immediately after finishing The Puck Secret. There's not a lot that beats the angry boy to lover boy pipeline in romance for me. This book was no exception. I was immersed from beginning to end. My only "huh" moment was the basis for the conflict between Josh and Hallie. Hallie, my sweet angel, what were you on about? Of all the things to take issue with, that's the one you're going with? I'm just thanking the stars that Josh is who he is, desperation and all. <3
