Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot by Mikki Kendall

challenging emotional informative reflective sad medium-paced

5.0

Should be mandatory reading for every white feminist. This is an amazingly educational book on so many topics like gun violence, access to healthcare, food deserts, voter suppression, and more - all through a feminist lens. The biggest thing I felt at the end -- if your feminism isn't intersectional, it is not really feminism.
