This was pretty boring for me, I expected way more. The ratings on goodreads were pretty good and I loved his other book so much. But this just didn't work for me. Maybe it was the way it was written, maybe I just didn't connect with the characters. The beginning was so slow it took me about 150 pages to get into it and that's too much. I did power through and hoped it would get better but it didn't really. I did like the second part of the book better but it still wasn't amazing.
