I NEED THE SEQUEL IN MY LIFE LIKE YESTERDAY.

Okay, but on to the actual review!

I got this book free from the Kindle store. I'm always obsessively combing through the books available there, because what's better than free books?!

V is for Virgin follows the story of Valerie Jensen, a girl who is saving her virginity until she is married because of her bio mother getting pregnant at fifteen. Her mother couldn't remember whom she had sex with for the first time. She did the right thing and put Val up for adoption to a loving couple.

Where to begin? I honestly adored this book to pieces. For me, it's so hard finding books that are clean in the sense of language and whatnot. It was so refreshing to see a book that has no cussing (I didn't notice any). It was hilarious, had an attractive guy, and actually talks about something I hold near and dear to my heart. I too am saving myself for marriage and I often get talked down to about it (in the end, it's my business and no one else's).

I really admired Val's bravery and it broke my heart when she and Cara fell out. I am so invested in the characters and the story that I want A is for Abstinence like right now but I must restrain myself.

Towards the end of the book there were a few typos and editing mistakes, but I know how it goes when you think you've fixed everything.

This story was amazing, loved the characters, NO INSTA-LOVE (my favorite), and it was easy to relate to. I can't wait to read some more!!
