The Chalk Man by C.J. Tudor
3.0
3.5 stars.
This book felt like a much slower bit more jumbled darker version of IT to me, although swap out creepy clowns for chalk men and dark small town secrets spanning decades.
Honestly, the only thing I didn’t like about this book was the pacing. It was off to a great start, slowed way down, and then SLAMMED down the road for a whirlwind thriller ending with two big twists. It was good, just not as great as I wanted it to be. Of course this is one of my favorite authors so maybe I’m just more picky than I should be.
All in all, it’s another good Tudor thriller and one I would absolutely recommend.
