Shirayuki and Zen's date was adorable. You can literally witness the effect Shirayuki has on Zen as she influences to think more of others just for the sake of it, buying gifts not for any special occasion, but just because. It's lovely to see their relationship develop so naturally and beautifully. Then, we get to see another side to Mitsuhide as he feels betrayed at the news Kiki has decided not to tell him for a long time, yet she told Zen.  Having these small moments of conflict also gives great insight into what makes these relationships work and builds fondness overall. Kiki's origin story is very interesting, and I love that she does have such a supportive dad who still sets boundaries, but also listens to Kiki's wishes and wants.
