I just couldn’t get into the style of writing (I.e., breaking the fourth wall, cliches out the wazoo, punny and sarcastic quips, etc.) and a lot of it felt like he had to really really spell it all out for the reader, too much for even a mystery novel where everything gets revealed at the end.
I do think it’s unique that they’re not all bloodthirsty, intentional murderers, but that everyone HAS killed someone, even by accident or whatever — unique way of changing up the content from the title.
